Look at your weapon's stats to see any strengths to build on. A weapon with a base of 5% crit chance, on the other hand, would not benefit very much from a crit chance mod. For instance, some weapons have high crit chance and/or damage stats, so applying crit chance/damage mods can be very useful. There are also random alert missions that give Endo.īeyond simple damage/multishot modding, every weapon varies in their specific stats including Critical Cnance, Critical Damage, and Status Chance. Any mods you collect can be melted down into Endo. Credits and Endo are spent while upgrading mods. That's essentially your currency for mod upgrading. In order to upgrade mods, you have to get Endo. Upgrading your damage mods will also benefit when you apply other mods that apply a specific damage, like an element. If you avoid applying these mods, your performance will suffer greatly as you progress through the solar system. There are a few mods that are deemed essential in making a weapon good, like the + Damage and + Multishot mods.
