That's how the phrasing goes for singular/plural. Guards get unlucky, a guard gets unlucky. I've heard disasters about the other security guards who gets unlucky > plural 'guards' means that it's just 'get unlucky'.
It's been three weeks since I've passed Basic Training and now it's my first day as a security officer in Site █ > Site numbers typically have two digits. Please note that I do not comment on every single thing that I think needs fixing, unless the piece is exceptionally good.
